Psychoanalytic Studies

The Psychoanalytic Studies programme offers the opportunity to attend and participate in all relevant CFAR lectures, seminars and activities that form part of the training programme, with the exception of the specific category of ‘clinical seminars’. Tutorials and a study group are also included.

The programme is designed for:

a) who are not yet in a position to start the clinical training because they do not fulfil the requirements but who wish to develop their interest in psychoanalysis.

b) those who do not wish to embark on analytical training but wish to develop their study of Lacanian psychoanalysis.

This programme will start in September 2020.

Those interested in enrolling should write to the Training Committee before 31 August 2020 with details of their background (interest in Lacan etc), CV and 2 references. (Please provide a written statement of what prompts you to want to take the course.)

Participation in the programme is subject to being accepted by the Training Committee. Interview fee – £40.

Annual fees (3 terms): £850
(payable at start of course – non refundable)
